Game Review
Baldur's Gate: Dark Alliance Game Review By Juliet
Game console: This game is for Playstation 2
Rated: Teen, for blood, violence and use of alcohol.
Graphics: The graphics are great! When the characters venture into the water, the water vibrations actually bounce off surfaces! The enemies are also wonderfully animated as the characters go into combat. The way the characters are animated to move is also very realistic.
Music: The music is good, but very nerve wrecking! It is like danger music, and it feels like it is warning you of something.
Story: The story of this game is very interesting and complex. It continues with more and more twists and turns that all eventually piece together as you continue through the game. It begins at Baldur's Gate, a small town with many magical problems. The player can talk to other characters and sell and trade weapons, potions, and information. The player must defeat many enemies, including kobolds, dragons, giants, ogres, and many other beasts. I loved this story because it was all very fantastical. The beasts were all from fantasy, and the characters can perform magic. I enjoy these kinds of stories of fantastical fiction. The tasks were also very difficult. Each different world had several different sections, making it difficult to navigate, but fun to wander through.
Features: Two players can play, working together to solve the problems and tasks of the game. When using the two-player option, players can learn teamwork because of the need of the other player. One player cannot advance to another area if the other player doesn't advance along with the other. The characters can earn points, and levels in their strength, intelligence, wisdom and much more! Choose from plenty of different weapons, spells, armors, and potions to use to aid you through the levels. There are more than forty levels in the game, keeping the player going on for hours! Choose between three different characters to represent you in your journey to save Baldur's Gate; A young sorceress, a strong archer and a bold dwarf. Get into combat with over thirty-five vicious enemies and beasts. All of the wonderful features are sure to keep the player entertained for hours and hours!

Holes Disney Movie
"Holes", the Disney Movie, is based on the Award winning book by Louis Sachar. It is about a boy named Stanley Yelnats(notice how Stanley spelled backwards is Yelnats!) who has a curse on his family, due to the forgetfulness of his great-great grandfather, Henry Yelnats. The curse on his family causes him to end up at Camp Greenlake, a camp for boys where all those who "mess up" go to dig holes to "build character". Later on in the movie, Stanley discovers the real reason why they are digging holes when he notices how the Warden gets when they find something very unusual. I give this movie a complete 5 star rating! It's my favorite movie! Stars:
Shia LaBeouf, play main character, Stanley Yelnats.
Music: Two Thumbs up!
Acting: Two thumbs up!
Plot: The plot was very exciting and I loved it! 5 stars!
